Arrow setup for my wife

My wife is going to archery hunt for elk this year for the first time.  She's had a bow for a few years but hasn't hunted with it yet.  Her arrows are 26.5 inches and 7.3 grains per inch, putting her real close to 200 grains without a broadhead.  She'll be shooting around 50 lbs. 

I'm planning to get a head like a magnus stinger.  Should I go with 100 grain or 125?  2 or 4 blade?  Anything else I should be thinking of (other than keeping distance reasonable and practice a lot)?  Does anyone have experience with a similar setup?

WSU, the Magnus Stinger's are an excellent choice for your wife's arrows!  They are a true cut on contact broad head, will get exceptional penetration and cause maximum damage, and fly very well out of a tuned bow.  I would opt for 100GN BH's for her arrows (two blades w/bleeders so I guess you'd call em four blades) to maximize arrow speed out of her 50LB draw weight.  Only problem I see is that she's close to not meeting the WDFW minimum total arrow weight standards w/BH (300 GNs).  You can tinker with a few things on the arrows and get em' up to 300 grains though.  Happy hunting to you and Mrs. WSU this fall!

How close is she on arrow weight? There's some other ways to add weight if you just need a couple grains more.

Just the shaft is 193, so she will be over 300 with a 100 gr head, insert, nock and fletching.

Agreed.  Shoot a 125 grn broadhead or shoot a brass insert to add weight.   I think she would be better off in the 350 to 400 grain range if shooting almost 50 pounds.  The Magnus Stinger is a good coc broadhead.

My wife is running RAD madman 100grn heads they fly great haven't had the chance to kill yet but I know the heads work great.

My specs aren't too far off from your wife's.
I put in a weighted tube "3Rivers Arrow Weight Tubes" ( 5 grains/inch) to increase the weight of my arrows without affecting the spine. Then I tried a few broad heads, the  Slick trick Viper tricks flew the best, and I  think a cut on contact broadhead is a good idea . They fly AWESOME out of my bow! 100 grains Is what I am using, like I said they are spot on out to 50+ yards.

My wife has hunted for years with similar stats. Her draw length is 26" and shoots 50# for hunting. However, her arrows weigh around 400 grains since that used to be the old rule. The main thing is pick a good broad head cut on impact around a 1 1/8" cut diameter is best. She needs to pay particular attention to her effective range and shot angle. More in the 30-40 yard range.  This will limit her some what but if she stays with it she will still do well. Unfortunatey she isn't as big and strong as an average man but the bows made now days are way better than when my wife started.
If she sits in a tree stand tell her it is better to shoot the deer or elk at 25-30 yards the letting it get directly below her and shooting it at 5-10 yards. She will more than likely get a pass through instead of the arrow having a high entry hole with no exit hole.
