Any blood yet?!

saw more dove blood this morning and even some dog blood.  Molly had an issue going under a barbed wire fence and got poked on her hip.

Went out this morning. Didn't see anything..... at all. Just too damn hot. Need some cooler temps and rain

Had a whitetail buck at 42 yards but that is a tad out of my comfort zone so.passed. Very hot and the ground was so dry there wasn't much stealth.

Over 20 miles hiked so far, hot and miserable and definitely VERY crunchy. I've had a few opportunities at 60 and one today at 43, no legal bucks yet but I can't eat the horns. 60 was little out of my really confident range, the heat is definitely slowing things down.

I was able to shoot a buck in the high country yesterday. It was hot. Got stung 3 times taking care of it. Packed the deboned meat to a shaded creek near camp. Hike it to the truck this morning.
