I coerced my wife into going to the banquet this weekend.  I'll get to see bone and his trophy up close.  Should be fun.

Awesome Pope.  It will be great to see you there.  I'll be the pudgy overweight hasbeen, thinking of a trainging program for when I get selected for that goat permit this year.  It will have to be MOntana or Idaho goat since we won't know about Washingotn until its too late to train.
First time I have ever used the modge podge method.  I used to epoxy the whole thing and then use the Dan noser thing.........modge podge much better.  Hopefully I can get it finished before Saturday.

Well......I pertnear have him finsihed.  I'll give him a conditioner bath before the banquet, and rub some of the dust off his antlers.  My airbrush died temperoraily until I can figure out whats wrong with it.  SOOOOO.....I had to hand paint him.  I didn't do anythin with his ears.  I am thinking about leaving them natural for now.

This was my fist attempt at modgepodge on his nose.....Now I did it differently than bucklucky did.  I modgepodge it, then painted then hit it with Bass fish Gloss.

Here is his new home.  He replaced a whitetail on the wall.  There were lots of negotiations........

I like a wet look.  It might be a bit glossy, but the flash also enhances it.  I have a couple mistakes I'll need to work on in the next month or so, but It works for now.  Yep, nailed that bee's nest in North Idaho last year.   I actually got some good shots of it before cutting it down.  That was also a negotiation process to have that in the house. :)
