Glad he's ok.
I went through that except with a cow elk not a big bull. Scary stuff!
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

Looks like he may be able to salvage that drivers side tire.

I can relate to hitting an elk in a pickup on i90. It’s stinking scary as hell. Glad he’s ok

Glad he's alright, but in the car vs. elk battle there was certainly no winner.
