Oversized decoys?

Why oversized bufflehead decoys? How well do they work? Are they better than normal size?

It’s a visibility thing.  Birds can see them from a further distance.  I have used both, but don’t really notice a difference between standard and oversized.

    if I'm hunting with a pull string spinner or jerk string trying to pull them into a specific kill hole in my spread I'll use a couple oversize decoys to try and focus there attention to that spot.  Do they really make a difference ehhhhh, a group of goose floaters or full bodies on a mudflat or ice sheet nearby seems better for visibility in my opinion.

I just wanted to see if there was an advantage to oversize, which it sounds like  - probably not. I went with 2 regular sized. I notice that where I hunt there are often a handful of Buffleheads cruising around and thought I could probably set a couple dekes off a little ways from the rest of my spread of mallards/widgeon/teal. I'm in a sneak boat and space it limited in my deke bag.
