LEKI TOURSTICK BROKE
« on: December 18, 2017, 10:40:47 AM »
My fault. Stumbled and stepped on it.  Broke the 2 nd from bottom section. It’s not under warranty. I cannot find any replacement parts.  Called US customer service.  They offered only full replacement. Does anyone have any ideas. I could reinforce it epoxy and tape.  But would rather find a section.

 :yeah:

What is the problem with them replacing the entire thing?

Sounds like they are going above and beyond since it is not under warranty.

I think what he's saying is his only option is to replace the whole pole at his expense. It's not under warranty was mentioned in the OP.

Correct.  I was trying not to purchase new poles. Just repair the part on my broken one. Might find a small sleeve to epoxy inside then cover up with tape so I won’t get carbon slivers.  I dunno.  Just thinkin.

Too bad they are not Like Black Diamond. I was able to replace sections of mine when the bent or broke.

I think leki only warranties their non-carbon poles.

LEKI said they would replace it up to a year.  These are at least 2 years old.
