theres gotta be some more guys that got bucks outa hancock last year. i was part of pulling three out there.

maybe some guys are smart enough not to brag on the internet and help ruin what used to be a good area untill the (425) (206) invasion. >:( :bash:

Just FYI, a lot of the 206/425 guys just moved, many of them are from with 15 minutes of the gate and have hunted there for decades, going back to when it was Plum Creek land, or even Champion, when there was no access quota. With the quota now, it should be consistent in numbers every year.

there not elk rubs the trees that are being rubbed are only three maybe four inches in diameter. an elk would snap trees that small and besides they are way to low to the ground for elk. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Sometimes Blacktail bucks will rub trees to loosen their antlers, so they will fall off.

Here's a Kapowsin buck from 1996. Was the 2nd largest bodied buck I've taken, 80lbs of meat weighed at Stewarts. I lucked out and took this guy one day before my truck broke down during the special hunt, otherwise I would have had tag soup.

those are great deer. I got the biggest blacktail of my life out there. I don't know where you guys are seeing all these deer. It was like a wasteland out there last year. I didn't see one legal buck after the season opened. I was all over that place.
