7mm/375 with 197gn SMK would be my choice I love that 375 as well. I've always wanted to shorten one for an AR10 with a 6.5 or 7mm. I think its the only magnum case that would reliably function in the large AR's.Ok sorry York, threadjack over.
Taking into account Hammer bullets selection of .277 bullets. Along with issues of overall cartridge length and action size. From a real world Performance stand point without a bunch hassle. I would go with the .270-.375 Ruger. I would also make a contribution to the Reamer you spec out.👍👍👍

Cases were essentially long necked RCMs in 7mm and 6.5mm.Quote from: Biggerhammer on January 29, 2018, 11:18:05 PMTaking into account Hammer bullets selection of .277 bullets. Either way, I think I'm leaning towards one of the 270s. They're starting to grow on me.
What about necking down the 28 Nosler to 270? Case length and capacity would be very similar to the 270-375 Ruger but with a lot less necking down. This size case may not interest you but if you'd like to give something like a 270 Blaser a try I could send you some 7mm Blaser Mag cases to neck down if you'd like.If you go 270 something or other would the 170 Berger be on you list of bullets to try?
This is FN awesome! And not a single comment.....

I didn't even notice that was in the background...... Maybe I'll spin the press around and take a new picture with the "Friday Night Flow Chart" shirt in the background instead. That way nobody's offended. And for the record, I'd appreciate it if the "trolls" would stop trying to cause trouble. cough, cough, Jay.sharkbait.... I'd like to keep this conversation respectful.
OkI'm sorry......This is my fault.........I'll try to do a better job next time........NowWhy choose such pedestrian cases for this wildcat? Shirley, something more unusual would be a better fit?
