wish we could use decoy dogs here in WA

recognize some of those TT calls, don't think I have the lone howler they used, I liked it but I have the fighting sounds and kiyi
I believe some Colville natives use them regularly. Yeah, that was a great video!

don't help me any  :chuckle:

You think a guy could get away with having a "service dog" for emotional support with him on coyote stands?    :chuckle:

I'm guessing they might see through that one  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Is it just me or did those coyotes look as though they had a lot of domestic dog in them too.  Very cool video though.

That's an awesome video, but where does every other hunter find such willing to die coyotes. When ever I shot one the others take off like a "bat out-of-hell" and never looks back.  :)
Things that make life awesome: duck, spring bear, coyote hunting, tuna, salmon and steelhead fishing.

That’s because you’re not using a decoy dog.

Seth Simpson in Nampa ID trains decoy dogs.  He uses a shag and has a pet coyote that he uses as a decoy as well.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

@b23  Different locations have different color genetics.  Some places have a lot of variation.  There was a coyote study done with tracking collars done back East.  Mark June (and company) trapped and collared 37 coyotes, 12 of those were black.
