I had to look up netarts bay but sounds like a fun spot. I will tag along if ya don't mind
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me

we went down there last spring clamming, and it was a blast. we did not crab but we saw plenty of people catching them.

Was there feb 17th, free fishing weekend in oregon. Crabbed from 8am-1pm, crappy off and on windy rain showers but we still managed 20 crabs for 3 of us. They were mostly large healthy full crabs with only maybr 5 or 6 that barely made the cut. Lots around the 7in range. Our catch matched the report from the tillamok sporting goods store. At this point my recommendation would be to call the store and ask. Using chicken and fish carcasses.
