Have a safe trip!  Made it many times to Kodiak, and twice out west and back many years ago.  We always made it a fun trip.

That’s a good vantage point to see the mail Bouys from!  :chuckle:

What a incredible opportunity to see the inside passage.  I’m not surprised it was filled so quickly.  Be safe and enjoy...I’m am so damn jealous!

I'll never forget that you're one of the guys that helped me put the pieces in place to make this happen.

 He still have the boathouse?

Don't tell me Ridgeratt is your mate on this trip? Haha.
If i was retired and could have an awesome anti emetic, i'd be all over that trip. Good luck. Sounds like a fun run!!!!!

Ridgeratt is on the short list, whether he likes it or not! I'll Shanghai him one of these days.

We are NOT painting my boat pink, tho.

I'd have done it.

I've done the inland passage cruise several times.

I love when we come back to tour room and the towels are folded into animal shapes.

What shore excursions do you offer?

I've made this trip a couple times on the Alaska Marine Hwy, would love to do it again on a smaller vessel. If you ever have another opening like this, I have 22 years S.E. AK guiding experience (Ketchikan and Craig area) and a 100t capt. license.

That’s not fair, in all the cruises I made I never got my towels back from the ships laundry folded in animal shapes.  >:(

But I did have some great shore excursions.  ;)

Was a great trip, pulled in Anacortes early hours of Saturday AM.  Went outside from Milbanke Sound around Cape Caution, had a little wx in the Straits of Georgia Thurday night/Fri morning, but pushed through.

588 nm in in 88 hours, not too shabby.  Visited my dearly missed family, ready to take on my final leg to Seattle starting tomorrow.

If anybody is interested in bringing the boat up through the Ballard Locks on Tues evening, I could take a couple of folks. Probably pick ya up at Shilshole, up through the locks, then tie up in Fisherman's Terminal.  Celebratory beer at the Highliner and an Uber ride back to your car at Shilshole is on me.

Requirements - some boat handling experience preferred, but I can coach greenhorns through it if they're willing to listen.  Looks like it's gonna be rainy.

Pm me if interested-

Cool offer especially for anyone whom hasn't been through the locks on a boat before.
