Be carefull with folding it back.  When I got mine the hammer broke inside. That is how the things cocks.  No external hammer.  Took 6 months to get it back.  Mine is .410 over .22 WMR.  It is a silide gun though

You're talking about snapping it closed? I noticed that. You could also potentially fire the thing if you snap it closed with the firing pin sprung

You're talking about snapping it closed? I noticed that. You could also potentially fire the thing if you snap it closed with the firing pin sprung

I ran about 10 shots through each barrel and didn't have that problem yet.  I saw the same same thing though.

I love my 24f. I wrote Chiappa and told them they should make a 223 or 243 12 gauge combo and I'd purchase in a heart beat.

There has been a rise in predator hunting for quite somentime.  When I  watch guys shooting coyotes they usually have one guy with a rifle and one with a shotty, or in some cases they bring out both. It seems to me if you could shoot a 4" group with the rifle at 200 yards it would be a hell of setup. I know here in western wa that kind of gun with iron sites would put the small down on all manner of dogs and cats in the woods.

I'm one of those guys that thinks that a combo gun is the cats meow for predator hunting.  I shoot a BRNO 305 in 22 Highpower/12ga and a Bernardelli in 5.6x50R Magnum/12ga, both will shoot sub MOA groups at 200 yards with the 1-4x20mm scopes one them, killed a bunch of coyotes with them.

Would you consider a similar setup in 308/12 gauge for a brush gun for deer?

Use a load of 00 for under 50 yards and the rifle for out to 200 or so.

Sure why not, but I'd most likely go with a slug for close in.   I have a drilling 7x57R/16ga/16ga that I load with a slug in the left barrel, 6 shot in the right, slug for short range , rifle for long and shot for grouse or rabbit.
