Buffs

We haven't done a bison thread on here.  I spend so much time in the Bison Range and Yellowstone I've accumulated a few over the years...

Oh, oh, oh- one of my favorite subjects....  I'm, all kiddy like a little school girl.... First one is a Plains Bison (transplanted back into AK in 1929) the second is a Woods Bison (actual native of AK but this one is from BC)  Third is a Yellowstone Plains Bison.......

That's what the thread is for.  Everyone wants a sexy big mule deer but there are other animals out there...   ;)

Very cool Cohoho, I think I have a picture of Woods Bison off the Alcan.  He looked like an OLLLLLLD bugger or something.

They are trying to re-establish them "Woods" bison in AK.  They are getting them, for what I understand that very herd along the ALCAN.  When I went for my Bison pre-hunt brief, they at fish and game said there was the possibility of a Wood Bison running with the herds there, got loose from a ranchers group or something....
