I received my tags in the mail yesterday along with the holder for the WDFW access pass but no access pass??
Happened to me too. Had to actually add the access pass to my cart and it was sent out. Even without a dealer fee when I just added the pass. Normally it just comes along with your first purchase.

Little known fact:

Not sure if it's still the case but as of a couple years ago WDFW didn't actually send out the licenses. It was the license vendor company who sent them out using WDFW envelopes.

So you’re trying to say this isn’t WDFW’s problem?

If they work for WDFW as a sub, it is still WDFWs problem.

Did I say it wasn't their problem? I said it's a vendor that fills the envelopes. Obviously it's an issue the agency needs to resolve with the vendor (who happens to be the vendor for other states as well).

I ordered mine a couple weeks ago, have yet to get it. Guess I better call WDFW tomorrow.

This thread makes me glad I buy OTC. If the clerk messes up, you just make them fix it right then. I hope no ones special permits end up at the wrong house...unless its an OIL tag that ends up in my mailbox...  :chuckle:

I was just trying to figure out why you introduced irrelevant information.  Be it a lower tier vendor, WDFW, or Willy Wonka, it's WDFW's issue.  Like most things they do: Fish and Game Mgmnt. Lake Rehabilitations, Construction Projects, etc, they provide lack luster efforts and less than acceptable results.

I could be mistaken,  but I thought wdfw recently got rid of their outside vendor and took over those duties themselves. If so, only wdfw is to blame. :twocents:

Since the online sales began I have had some mistake every year in my stuff, but it is usually fixed with a phone call.

I hope this year is different!

This issue is because they don’t have enough game wardens.

Last year they sent me 2 deer tags and 2 elk tags
First year of online sales I received 2 elk and 6 deer tags, they also didn't have E or W for the elk and none of them had weapon choices.  I once received another hunters Wyoming antelope license along with mine, I just mailed him the license.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I got someone else's license and tags before the envolope had my name on it. I just mailed the tags and license to the owner and address on the license.
