Isn't that a pretty tough unit? I spent 20 days in there.

The hunt was difficult mentally due to me passing up a decent buck in the first 5 minutes and then the 4x4 a day later.  The terrain is defnnately steep, but if your in shape it's doable.  My opinion on how difficult a hunt is really based on your preparation, conditioning, and attitude.  Like one of my buddies dad, who really taught me how to hunt, always said, "Persistence, Persistence, Persistence."  I was in the woods away from camp from anywhere from 2 hours before dark to 2 hours after dark.  Plus, having never hunted mule deer in the rut, there was a learning curve.  I may not have shot the biggest buck, but I've got friends that are waiting to draw and when they do......I'm going with!!!!

Well Done Yote! It’s a tough hunt for sure specially with the numbers they way they were. Most importantly you had a good time and didn’t have any mishaps on the section of road.
