Hood canal crabbing question??
« on: June 30, 2018, 10:53:13 AM »
I’m on the road so I don’t have time to look it up and besides I would just be confused anyway with all the different rules. Does anyone know if a combo fish license is sufficient enough for crabbing in Hoods canal? Is that and a crab catch card all I need for crabs, oysters and butter clams?
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I believe WDFW considers everything 5-13 and east 4 as Puget Sound, thus you need the PS crab endorsement and catch cards.  Clams are covered under the shellfish/seaweed which is included in the combo.

The combo will cover the clams and oysters. But for crab you also need the Puget Sound crab endorsement.
