Pretty sure I seen a wolf in the bethel unit last weekend, looks like its not just the young and sick that get eatin  >:(

But thats what they will tell us and that is what they want us to believe, that its pretty much the sick and dieing that are targets of wolves. I actually had a WDFW guy tell me that over in the Methow, he said they target "compromised" prey animals and the young, well at least for the "young", they are the future of our herds and as for the "compromised"....what a crock :bash:...I think thats a dead elk unfortunately, but like some have said, hopefully he got in a couple good kicks and maybe broke a jaw or put an eye out of one of those D@#$ things!

I’ve seen hard horned bulls make it through worse with my own eyes.

I wonder which he was, sick or old, or both. Wolves don't kill healthy bull elk. Anyone with an ounce of patchouli oil knows that.  :dunno:

I'm more concerned about the giant rabbit in the background behind the black wolf!

Photo chopped picture of some ones pet famliy dogs chasing in a family cow.
There are no documented wolves in that area like there are no.undocumented people hanging around home depot parking lots at 7 o clock in the morning.

If it was only 2 wolves, maybe still alive, but how many more were chasing him. I would say if there were even 1 or 2 more wolves hes dead for sure.

If it were a single wolf I'd give the edge to the bull.  That looks like probably a pack.

:yeah: agreed, a pack is much more effective
