gun cases
« on: July 21, 2018, 05:58:03 PM »
I am thinking about getting a pelican 1780 or 1740. Does anyone have any experience with one of these. I am looking for a grab and go case in the event of a tsunami that will be a easy transportation option. Any other recommendations on guns longer than 44". Thanks

i have one of the 2 gun pelican models(forgot the #) that was more of an irrational want than an actual need(my justification is to have it for long trips with a fully loaded car/truck where my guns could be banged up, of which i have made none since i got it)

it's built like a tank, and is about as heavy.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I've had several Pelicans and Storm cases, I love the things. The only thing I don't like is the price! I intend to buy more just because they have so many uses, I don't think you could go wrong buying one.

I ordered that case from plano and it arrived yesterday but hadn't had time to unpack it yet. I am taking it to Africa so I can give a review when I return for sure.
