Need new to me Ford mechanic
« on: August 11, 2018, 05:21:09 PM »
Hello everyone, my Ford mechanic has moved and I am looking to establish myself with a new 'go to' Ford tech!  I have a 2005 F350 with the 6.8 V-10 and 138k.  Been a great truck so far but closing in on some needed refreshing.  Can anyone recommend a knowledgeable / trustworthy service tech or dare I say 'dealership'?  I would prefer not using a dealership but if there's a reputable one worth visiting these days I would give them a try.

I am in the Arlington area but can travel if necessary.  Thank you in advance

I would highly recommend Crosson's Auto Repair, in downtown Lake Stevens.  Charlie Crosson and his #1 mechanic, Chris, are two of the best and most honest auto mechanics I have ever done business with.  Our family has been taking our vehicles to Crosson's for around 30 years, without a single complaint.  My only problem with them is that they are so busy keeping their customers happy that often appointment times are 3 weeks, or more, out.

Second, third, and fourth, this.  Just picked up my F350 yesterday, and as always, I cannot speak highly enough about his service.  Located in Kenmore, but worth the drive, even for me coming from the opposite end of Lake Washington.

I dont know their work, but can attest that they are booked out 3+ weeks. I called them in late July for a leaking water pump and was told "booked solid until August 24th"
