I could probably help you out but I would need the exact location where he came from. :chuckle: Very nice
On that one hill next to that one burnt tree just up from those rocks, you know.  :chuckle:

You don't say! It was a joke and a complement all in one.

So was the "He's dead" comment.  It's actually a quote from an old post about another monster buck.  Long story and not worth derailing this thread over.  Sorry you didn't get the follow up joke, hopefully some did. @MtnMuley  and @steeliedrew  probably do for sure.

I was trying to find what the current typical WA records are. Is NWbiggame.com up to date and accurate?http://www.nwbiggame.com/top_10.cfm

Do antlers continue to shrink or just in that 60 day period?

As current as the 4th edition book which I believe came out two years ago.

I would of thought there would have been something in the last 30 years that would make the 200” mark but maybe not. Most recent one listed for rifle is 1987.
That’s why I questioned if it was accurate.

I don't think everyone gets them scored and recorded in the book.

You’re right. My dad doesn’t care much if it’s in the books. Just curious of an official score.

Looking forward to the final tale of the tape.  Has anyone unofficially put a tape to it?  What taxidermist did the mount?  I would think they would have put a tape to it to get a rough idea.

Moro in lake Stevens did it and to my knowledge he didn’t tape it but not sure. I put a tape to it using the B&C score sheet and we came up at 210 but I’m sure we were on the generous side.

My guess is you are close.  I typically cheat myself in some areas and am too generous in others.  :chuckle:

Why wouldn't the taxidermist take a few minutes on a buck like that?
