Just go to town once you kill and get some. You won’t be all that far away. Gallon jugs of regular ice in a good cooler will last a good long while in oct and November also.

The closest is Spokane. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I used me Yeti money to pay the mortgage.
Thanks for the tips. My main concern with using normal ice is with wanting to keep the meat dry. But frozen jugs should work.

Colville walmart quit selling dry ice? call em @ (509) 684-3209
pellets don't last as long as blocks, just like ice chips don't last as long as ice blocks.Dry ice will freeze meat.Dry ice turns to gas as it melts. This will increase the pressure inside the ice chest if air tight and can cause failures (not a problem with cheap coolers as they aren't air tight).
You won’t have any issues with regular ice. I’d be more co center with cooler space... just get the body heat out of the meat and you will be fine. Will be plenty cool in oct to hang the meat As long as the meat isn’t sitting in water and your tote has a drain it won’t hurt it to have ice melting on the way home. No need to overthink it. Find Moose, shoot Moose, clean Moose, cool meat overnight, drive home.
Don’t store it in any place where people will be, it’ll kill you. 😉
Need to just borrow some coolers??
