Only reason they opened it was because the Nile and bumping units went spike only for a few years in 2010.  I like having the area open to permit holders only.  I wouldn't mind seeing wdfw put out some early season cow tags ror6the unit.

We went to 346 this weekend and scouted for my sons tag, never found a single animal. Help?

Lots of people and activity in the 346 this weekend. Animals were probably hunkered down pretty good.

I saw a couple dozen cows, a spike and a big 6 in a couple hours Sunday am checking cams. They are there. Just get away from people.

We glassed the clear cut, drove roads, hiked 12 miles, walked reprod areas, etc, I think we were to high. We'll take any help we can get. Thanks

The first hour of daylight should produce the most sightings

We were over there a couple weeks ago. And saw elk low and high. And only drove a few roads. Mostly cows and calfs.
