Looking for decent wooden oars Tacoma-Aberdeen
« on: September 06, 2018, 08:43:28 PM »
Anyone know who sells decent wooden oars for a 14’ Jon Boat? Snapped one and need them as a backup for salmon season. Currently using 7’6”, 8’ seems more common. Just wondering if any marine stores stock them Tacoma- Aberdeen range. Thanks

I should have mentioned I’ve looked online, just hoping to find something at a local store. Painted are good since they’ll be getting a camo paint job

One of my favorite out of westport and they have oars.  Pic of oars in this pick.

It's a TIKKA thing..., you may not understand.

Thanks for the reminder about Englund’s. Great store that I don’t go to very often. I’ll pick up some wool/felt liners for the extratuffs while I’m out there

Not in Tacoma or Aberdeen, but....

I bought the painted grey oars from Ed's Surplus in Lynnwood before.

Auburn Sports and Marine also has them, but their prices are usually higher.

Bought my first pair of wool liners for the xtra tough there over a decade ago too and make a night day difference.  Good tip.
