These are the ones Ive used for at least 15 years, Bullet holder, starter, premeasured charge, spare cap all in one. Powder stays dry. I put a cap in but usually use my capper because its easier.

I don't muzzle loader hunt anymore, but those are the ones I used as well.  Works awsome.

paper cartridge, just bite the end off and load:

I've been carrying this one around for several years.  Time to roll some new ones with 209s in them.

The original and I LOVE IT!!!

no they do not... they are in my pocket - remember they are water proof so I just carry them loose.

Well now that i take a closer look at the loader... you really could easily store a 209 primer or even a cap in one. It what take just a small jury rig to make it happen.  there is a cavity for the top of your ram rod if you ere to use the loaded as handle to push the load down.  The primer could be stored there and a cap of some form fashioned...

I added this to my original post.   Well they worked on the bench at the range.   Have been doing lots of shooting as if hunting.....yeah they work but not as well as the old double ended tube.  Put a timer to it...and the tubes are faster so far under a little stress.   So now it looks like I will carry two tubes and these to refill them if needed.   Well so much for that idea in real world application.   Now to find a faster way to have my 209 Primer/Red Knight Jacket available

I run the Traditions pellet loaders with fffg. They're double capped. Cup your hand over the barrel and pour. Pop the other side and the 300 sabot is ready to load. I always have that block of wood I made on me as well, because I know I need that extra advantage w/ the old Black Diamond. Cap has just a little tape over it, but is loose and accessible once the end is popped. I add a small cotton patch on top of the sabot to reduce rattle and plastic wrap/rubber band tubes for a quicker find and noise reducer.

Do you guys wear beaver hats or tricorn minutemen hats, too?   ;)

Seriously, I'd love to see some pictures of how you do this.  Good luck this season!
