The tactics talked about usurp other tactics being used by others in the area.  So great it works for some, but as you should be getting from what people are saying, many don't appreciate the tactic.  In areas or states with others not around great.  Its like guy that that's peacefully still fishing for trout anchored in a little bay doesn't appreciate the guy who motors around him casting buzz bombs. The attitude that posting about specific areas doesn't ruin it is like saying advertising doesn't work.  Especially for limited draw areas, you can most definitely easily ruin the odds of getting drawn.  I didn't read all the posts in this thread but the stuff about *censored* seems weird to me. Is this the new kids lingo for peeing outside?  Kind of different to name a hunting troop after that.
If I saw anyone sitting on a wallow, in a stand or ground blind, or just silently still hunting I would happily back out and keep quiet until getting a reasonable distance away. Of course I can’t speak for everyone who runs a more aggressive calling style but I fully understand not everyone does it and that everyone has the right to enjoy their hunt how they want. I’ve never bullied anyone out of their spot or gone screaming thru someone’s set up. People will run into people on public ground in a popular area, it’s just bound to happen.

Did I miss something when I left for the snack bar?
I thought *censored* stood for Pacific North wild or Nortjwest Wild or something like that and no Pee "N" wild?

Also, what's this tactic of "aggressive calling" or something? What tactic were they using that chased ALL the elk out of the area for miles and miles?

Wearing glasses while hunting should be outlawed.

Peein' wild and now banning glasses while hunting.  What's next?

Thought with the NEW forum rules. Bashing other members wasn’t allowed?  :dunno:
OP was great. The out come even greater. Now it took a left hand turn and it’s just straight up bashing. Who cares about the hunting tactics of others. This thread is a train wreck and is the highlight of WHY MEMBERS DONT POST!

I think hunters need to stick together no matter what hunting tactic they chose. We are already fighting a uphill battle when it comes to anti hunting groups and people who don’t agree with it. I’ve hunted with the *censored* team now for a while and they are nothing but respectful, ethical outdoorsman.

Zack and I " *censored*  Pacific North Wild" joined this thread to simply disconnect Jacob and his actions dragging down *censored* and its name. Then we were bashed by hunting tactics and our actions in videos. So by nature we have defended ourselves. we get were going to have people that don't particularly like us or what were doing. But we play by the same rules as everyone else. If you don't like me because I drank a beer that's 100% your right I don't mind that. But saying we as a group ruin entire units or hunting areas is insanity. We work just as hard as most people we put in the time and effort. We just chose to film photograph and document our hunts as we truly enjoy that aspect of it as well.
be careful going in search of adventure its ridiculously easy to find.

@Elkcollector82 and anyone else that has concerns about this thread.

There are multiple mods following this thread.  I haven't seen anything that has broken the rules yet.  There is some definite borderline stuff in my opinion.

With that said, if there are comments in particular that you think are breaking the rules please click the report to moderator button and give a brief description of the issue so the mod team can review it.

We all look at things differently and not all of the mods see it the same way either.  One of the mods not following this thread may see the report and agree.  Heck, one of the mods following might read your report and look at the comments differently based on your view of the comment. When it gets reported we review it and then take action if needed.  We aren't perfect and sometimes just don't see it in the same light as others.

I encourage anyone that has concerns to hit the report to moderator button.

As a rather inexperienced hunter the latter part of this thread has been VERY EDUCATIONAL. Sometimes you guys have to realize that we all havn't hunted our whole lives and lived and breathed hunting since day one.

I've never hunted elk but have day hiked around the Bumping lake, Blankenship Meadows, Tumac mtn, Twin Lakes? area and always thought it would be cool to hunt elk there.

Now I know whats a cool tactic with the regulars and what isnt.
