For the most part, all turkey chokes are about the same. For 99% of the hunters, any turkey choke is fine. If you like wasting money like me, then you can buy several chokes and loads and get the combo that you feel is the best. Does it make me kill more turkeys? No. However, it is nice to be confident that I can kill a bird at a longer range of need be.
When I take kids and gals out that dont have much experience, I never have them use a turkey choke. Always a plain full choke. They won't be shooting more than 25 yds and a full choke is plenty enough at that range. A turkey choke has too tight of a pattern for the less experienced hunters in my opinion.
