RIP Tim Grounds
« on: October 01, 2018, 08:21:51 AM »
I saw this morning where Tim Grounds has passed away due to an ATV accident.
A bit controversial due to some political alignments over the years, but he will be remembered for changing the way we hunt geese, maybe all waterfowl in general.
He brought the short reed goose call to the forefront and that, in my opinion, revolutionized goose hunting more than any other advancement.
RIP Tim.

I saw this.  I had an opportunity to meet him years back.  A very straight forward guy and an excellent caller.  Learned quite a bit from him in my early years and picked up many of his calls over the years, before everyone became a call maker.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
