Target #1
« on: October 21, 2018, 08:00:22 AM »
With "Popcan" dead, (my cover buck) harvested yesterday.    I guess this will be my next target. As much as I embrace hunting, I hope this guy keeps his head low and has defied all the odds and survived another year. I felt pretty fortunate to find him the first time. Then to find him the next year was even more surprising. Heres to year three!  He is on the downward.  Who knows what he will look like, but I wont miss those eyebrows.

I remember Groucho.  He needs a black stash too.  That is one cool photo.

You must feel a bit of remorse when you see/hear one of your subjects harvested.  Whaddaya gunna do?  :dunno:

Currently on my photo card.   I caught him 50 yards from where I filmed him 3 years ago.   Firstlight, Fogged in solid.   If the pics turned out, he might make December.  I want to do a thread of him showing three years of antler.  He’s bigger again!

Great shot, Bone. He should really pluck, though.
