You guys going through withdrawls yet????

I am going crazy
I haven't shot a duck or goose in forever! I am starting to go through withdrawls...I have been shooting pigeons at my friends feedlot and at work, it does help.....some. I am already starting to gear up for duck season...lol. I am buying a Mossy 935 Magnum Waterfowl Edition auto loader in a few weeks. I went with the 935 over the 930 because of the over-boring. The large bore works exceptionally well because of the almost lack of forcing cone, and it gets to take advantage of 10ga bore and choke dimentions (.775) I am gonna be paying a little more for the Magnum, but it's worth it. I am getting excited already. I can't wait to get the dang thing. So, what do you guys do to help with the ducky withdrawls?

I've got about 15 cases of clays of varying shapes and sizes that need to be turned to dust along with a couple of do-all traps that need a workout...anybody got a place we could shoot?? A LOT??

I always want to kill birds. However, there's plenty to do in the off-season to keep me occupied. I've got to drain the ponds, plow the fields, plant the fields with barley, fix-up the blinds, build some new bridges, possibly create a pit blind, paint the cabin, and I could go on with this for a while.
Let's just say that I'm keeping busy this off-season preparing for the next!

I have been shooting clays, starlings, and pigeons out of them. The GHG is waaaaay easier to tear down and set-up, but the finisher is more comfy.

jackelope. thats a really good idea shootin clays outta the laydowns. ive been running threw a box of clays a week. bought a couple new calls and am anxious to test em... this weekend ill go down to the refuge and call em up a bit.. record it and play it back when i get home. listen to how they sound and tune em... i cant take this hot weather... i means no hunting... im shot my turkey a couple weekends ago but nothing that did little to supress my waterfowl cravings...
