Open End Gun Case
« on: March 22, 2009, 10:53:10 AM »
I was wondering if anyone had seen a hard gun case that opens in one end like a scabbard.  I haven't been able to find one. I was hoping to find one that I could bolt into my truck for convenience. It would be easier to organise the back of my jeep if I could stack gear on top of  the gun case and just be able to slide my rifle in and out as well as the added security of having your gun case locked and bolted down.

If no one has seen any of these maybe there is part of the market that hasnt been tapped.  I always wanted to design outdoor gear.  ;)
"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

Loving life in the Great Northwest one day at a time.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Yes, some of the gun cases designed for 4 wheelers mount at 30-45 degree angle (roughly) and have a cap that slides over the end.
