Apparently after the video ends he backs out. I have several videos of him over the next 12 hrs or so rummaging around the back of the trap so I think he shook the cage enough to drop the door. He just kept coming back but never fully committed. I'm sure I would have caught him if the cam wasn't in there but to be honest I like the video better. Less work.
It would help if I took the time to set the date and time right on the cam too.
