I am looking for someone who would show me a good spot to hunt easterns. I have harvested a rio and several merriams, however to date I have walked and driven tons of miles (every year for the past 3) with out so much as seeing sign. If someone would be willing to show me a good eastern spot, I would be willing to show them my honey hole for merriams. Please help!!!! I only need one eastern and then i'm never gonna hunt that side of the mountains again!!!!!
well I'm a security guard, an army vet, a college student, and a father of 2. I enjoy fishing, clamming, and hunting and just about any thing to do with the outdoors. I have been hunting birds since I was 10 and started hunting turkey and big game when I got back from Iraq in 05. My wife says I hunt way too much...LOL!!!! I am a member of DU, PF, QF, NWTF, and HH, but can never attend the meetings due to the odd hours I work and to college. Oh yeah I'm a MH for the state.

They are different creatures.
Master Hunter
Dustin07,if your interested in the MH you have until the end of the month to put in for your package. and then have a year to complete it. the course is challenging and about historically about 10-25% of applicants pass the course. But it sure teaches a lot of knowledge. I would strongly encourage you to enroll. theMH have done alot in the last couple of years to further hunter-landowner relations in the state
