Kimber Rifle....
« on: December 11, 2018, 05:17:47 AM »
Just received my Kimber Adirondack 6.5 Creedmoor, put a Zeiss 3x9 on it, total weight 5 lbs-6 oz. My worry was accuracy.... Much to my surprise 1/2" and less groups shooting from Leadsled with factory Nosler 120 gr. Ballistic tips. Really like the rifle, normally not impressed with factory rifles, but this one has totally surprised me. Very happy with the Kimber.... :)

I have a new Mountain Ascent in 6.5 Creed. Beautiful gun and feels great. Haven't shot it yet but looking forward to it.

While not a Kimber,  my sons 6.5 Creedmoor shoots the Nosler  120gr BT ammo well.
H20hunter's rifle is nice and light

Recently picked up a Montana in 308. Hope its a shooter.

Topped it with a Swaro Z3.

Had to remove some material from the mag box because it was bottoming out in the stock.

I think I'm sitting around 5-15/6 on the money with a scope.

My Montana in 280 ackley is surprisingly accurate for a little toothpick barrel.  140 accubond like to group in small clusters.  Sweet rifles.

Regarding lightweight rifles...like Kimber's...if someone is having accuracy problems be sure to check the trigger pull...I found mine to be a bit too stiff for such a light rifle but once I made a small adjustment it became a tack driver. The rifle was always accurate, I was just moving it a little bit as I pulled the trigger.

I am wanting a Kimber but all of a sudden some are having ejection problems. Figure when im ready to drop the hammer I'll just take a new piece of brass and see it I can test cycle it.

Me and my hunting partners got into 4 Kimber hunters this year. All sub moa. No problems.

I dropped mine off a cliff and it's still good, scope didn't make it though.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

My Kimber hunter in 6.5 CM shoots tight sub moa.  Bolt is little tight.

My Montana is looking to be a decent shooter. Got a couple factory loads shooting an inch and I feel like they'll tighten up a bit with a trigger adjustment... I adjusted it down some but it needs to go down more.

I have a Montana in .270 wsm, shoots great on the bench, I however can’t shoot it for the life of me when there’s an animal in the crosshairs  :bash:
