There have been wolves on the wet side for several years. Wasn't there a report a couple months ago about wolves around Everett or something?
Skagit/mt. Baker areas, Darrington and Granite Falls so far. And yes mtnmuley, people have captured wolves on there cameras and it is also very brushy over here to easily spot animals. Your average person on the west coast wouldn’t notice or pay that much attention at spotting wildlife either in my opinion.

most would assume they were lost german sheperds or huskies and set out organic dog food while calling the dog rescue people.

Pressure needs to be applied on WDFW to find these packs in western WA, the bottom line is that if we can find three breeding packs in the three regions per the wolf plan wolves can be delisted. We are overrun with wolves in NE, if the wolves have expanded into W WA they need to be delisted so management can begin in the NE.

Looks like they’re making the rounds, whatever they are.

If I'm not mistaken that horse owner could have shot and killed them if they were in the process of attacking his horses right?

That doesn't sound like wolves, in my opinion. If it had been wolves a horse would be dead.

Western WA is still listed as federally endangered, I'm not sure if you can shoot to protect livestock? Anyone know for sure?

Later on in that thread she says she thinks these were hybrid wolf/dogs.

I'm pretty certain that it doesn't matter what kind of animal it is, if it's on your property and attacking your animals you can shoot it or kill it any way you like.

That's the reason for my question
I'm not sure and was wondering why they wouldn't have gone out there armed but then I was thinking  it is on the Westside
