So going by the premise that if a critter is attacking my animals it's ok to kill them I can start shooting the bald eagles and owls that kill my chickens? I'm pretty sure that protected and endangered status puts those animals off limits except in cases of self defense but I could be wrong.

Wolf tracks are going to be about 5" in size and 3 or 4 feet between steps, bigger in size and stride than most dogs, they are incredibly huge. I would expect wolves to show up soon, they are running out of new territory on the east side!  :dunno:
Trust me, they have done run out of food!

There's been wolf sightings on game cameras in the Mt Baker wilderness for years now and I've HEARD that Washington Department of no Fish and no Game says there 'may be up to 3 wolves roaming from the skagit side of Baker to the whatcom side of Mt Baker' even though more than 3 different wolves have been seen on game cameras. Yet when you go to WDFW's website nothing has been updated since 2015 ....why? They obviously haven't stopped collecting data or spending our money. Do we not have the opportunity to see any of the data that's been collected in the last 4 years? Is there somewhere I can go to look at RELEVANT information from WDFW on the current wolf numbers and locations in our state? Are they only acknowledging the existence of wolves if they've confirmed a breeding pair to down play the REAL wolf numbers?

Stevens to Money creek where did that come from why not Index creek. Besides they go where there is food not where non is present.
Because those are two low passes close to a known population, and they've already been seen on the pipeline road in the past. I don't claim to know the exact path they took to get to Duvall

I don't think the fish and game guys that moniter the wolves care to much until its a problem. I guy i was teaching how to hunt showed me a picture he had taken a couple weeks before hiking up by i-90.He walked right up on a den of wolf pups.Guy was clueless and started taking pictures of them from 20 yds away. Thought they were coyotes. He emailed the picture to fish and game biologist and asked them if they were wolf pups or coyotes and said he could show them right were the den was.No reply for a week so he called back and they denied getting them.He blew it off and didn't resend them.A year later a biologist called him asking about the picture. He told them they were a little late.

My wife just showed me the post Jackalope, I guess the original one you posted is up Mountain View and the lady who’s horse was being attacked is 1 mile up from Safeway.  It sounded like both sightings have been reported to fish and game and they are coming out to track them.

Wolves were confirmed 5 months ago in Duvall area. I’m sorry but I’m glad this happened. The lady’s horse that was attacked not good but it was bound to happen and hopefully some of these idiots on the Wetside get a taste of what they do and it opens their eyes.

I’ve lived in Duvall for 15 years and am pretty in touch with the local wildlife gossip. Can you show me where wolves were confirmed in Duvall 5 months ago?

Also I mentioned that the lady with the horses that got chased said the dogs looked like mutts. Not wolves.  Who knows what’s legit and what’s not in this scenario.

Accurate.
The one up Mountain View was posted by a friend of ours.

I’m not sure where the horses are just north of Safeway. Up Big Rock a bit. Someone is sure they saw wolves. The other person thinks they were “hybrids”.

The pipeline is about 3 miles up Big Rock road and that is where my buddy reported seeing them a couple years ago. I was also born and raised in Duvall and my family has been up by Lake Margaret since 1926. This is a good eye opener for all the wolf loving people. I feel bad for people that have been dealing with this for a long time. I have hunted most of the state and I can't believe how bad it's getting. It makes me sick watching the politics destroy my home state.

It looks like the second report is only a little bit north of Safeway a couple blocks east of main street off 143rd place, this is right in town bordering the last bit of woods between big rock and downtown.

I live on the pipeline trail and walk there often, and I have seen plenty of coyotes but never a wolf.  I'm a little skeptical about the confirmation of wolves there unless it is up by the reservoir where we can't go, but if they are there that would def be an eye opener.

So the post that sparked this thread originally came from the road up the hill right before you take the last right turn to go to the lake.

Wife said it was confirmed but thinking maybe not now that she showed me this. Fish and game was supposed to show up at the ladies house today but now it’s tomorrow.
