Anyone going for the single season slam this year, other than MerriamMagician :tung: I've got two weeks this year for the spring hunt. I've decided to abandon my family and my worldly responsibilities and try to fulfill this turkey hunting dream. I'll be starting with an eastern.

Those oscellated turkeys are cool birds. I think you have to go to Guatemala for them.

Gould's would be cool as well.

It be cool to get one of them turkeys down in Meheco

Cool.  Looks like it's related to a peacock.

I think that one is going to be your hardest one just because it’s so limited as far as public land goes. Good luck to you

Washington slam 15 years straight! All 3 birds with all 3 weapons. Shotgun, muzzleloader shotgun, and bow. Interested in getting all other available slams, but I am a poor boy. Will probably eventually just do the World slam. Then maybe just relax for a while. We all know how much work it is. Hats off to all that try!😃

The Osceolated and the Gould are both Mexican/South American birds.  They brought Goulds over to Arizona in the last 10 years I believe.

Yeah, eastern sure give everyone a run for their money. I'm gunning for that one first and if I can't bag one in the first week I'll just be trying for two Mirriam's in the NE.
