Snohomish County Perch & Bluegill lakes?
« on: March 28, 2019, 06:30:30 AM »
Are there any good lakes in Snohomish County  to take the grandkids to catch perch or bluegills? We have a 12 foot rowboat and electric motor.

Caught a few perch by accident on lake Martha, south of Stanwood.  It’s  electric only but selective gear rules.  The gravel boat ramp was pretty rough last time I was there about a year ago.  Good luck and have fun!

Both are in Roesiger, my kid catches them all the time at the County park. Not much size to therm, there, but there might be some keeper sized fish elsewhere in the lake.

Kokes in Lake Stevens.  Troll slow,  easy gear set up, tasty littke buggers. Also can throw bobbers and worms etc along shoreline structures for misc fish. Right off the downtown launch are rocks marked by bouys... easy to ID, perch there. South end of the lake is pretty flat....can drift along with a tipped jig above the grass.  Please keep every dang perch you keep as they are abundant and i assume eat koke fry.

Cassidy has lots of both. Lake Stevens has plenty of perch, can't speak to Bluegill. Roseiger has both I believe. Flowing, Panther, Storm all have them I think too. Lots of choices. I'd probably start at Cassidy, lots of action there for kiddos.
