Feelin' the Turkey itch
« on: March 28, 2019, 07:56:15 PM »
I was out doing some work this afternoon and boy were the turkeys going nuts. Every time I would whistle they would gobble back and they sure liked the sound of my chainsaw :chuckle:.

A few more weeks and can't wait to hammer a few. I got Turkey and Bear fever for sure.

Turkeys are gobbling like crazy here right now, roosting up all around the house.  Can hear them in the background of this video.  Not a valid vimeo URL

I've been feeling the itch for months. I tried to hold myself over by getting people to post their 2018 turkey hunts but seemed to strike out. Hopefully I still have a wife when I get back in April. I'm pretty sure she's tired of me yelping from the closet all the time. It's going to be a grand spring this year,  I can feel it in my bones.
I laugh in the face of Danger. Ha ha ha Danger Face!

Been hearing gobbling all day for several days now out hiking.  Thought i was feeling the turkey itch today for a second, but it was just a tick crawling up the back of my neck.

Naches, did you move? I see Idaho for location, rather than Naches.

Yep. Who knows where I'll end up next after I'm completely done with school, but it will definitely not be Washington, Oregon, or California.
