Registering a harbor freight trailer
« on: May 08, 2019, 09:23:28 PM »
I just finished building a harbor freight 4x8 trailer for my camping and kayak/fishing gear and I need to go register it. I've got my factory document of origin and receipt. I've heard 2 different things: need to take it to wsp for inspection before licensing or just take it to an auto licensing place and they'll check lights etc before registering it.

Can anyone give me some direction on if I need to take it to wsp first or just straight to licensing? Thanks!
A promise made is a debt unpaid, and the trail has its own stern code

The 2 (DMV and State patrol vehicle inspection)are usually on the same property.I would stop at state patrol and ask if they say go to licensing then just walk over to licensing.  :twocents:

I had one licensed. No inspection was needed. Just take your document to DOL.
I'm not sure.

Take the certificate of origination in to the dmv and you’ll walk out with registration plate tabs and title coming in the mail. I’ve done this twice
