Shimano Tekota 600

That is a big reel for fishing from the bank in rivers :dunno:  I have 4 tekotas on the boat.  2 300s for jigging, and 2 500s for downriggers.

Thanks guys..  I picked up the Infinity ISS 92MC..  Going to get a reel soon.  I've always fished Abu Garcia ambassadeur, time to upgrade there as well.  They are work horses but pretty clunky.  The new Revos looks pretty nice and/or Shimano..

I love my Revo SX HS for steelhead. It might be a bit small for salmon fishing depending on line size you use and how big the river is.

Surprised no one mentioned North Fork Custom rods.  Made my Mr Loomis himself.  Think they are in Vancouver area.

Yeah, my Loomis rods are all from the good old days.  I have a lifelong buddy that knew a guy.
