That very last pic reminds me of fishing high country lakes, they always seem to be fogged in, iced over, and brushy on the sides when I make an attempt to fish them. By time they are ice free I'm usually scouting or fishing the rivers. I'll have to scan some lake pics from the few sunny days I've fished high lakes.

I live in Walla Walla on the eastside. Any suggestion of lakes I could hike into that aren't too far from here.
Just starting out in this kind of activity so I know nothing .
