New shooting bench
« on: May 30, 2019, 12:47:32 PM »
Yep! Finally finished it off today! Very nerve wracking using that skid steer. The forks have a stabilizer bar and we had to block the top up, pull the skid steer out, then wiggle the table to where it all looked even, then remove the blocks one at a time. We have the last cement soupy so you can move the top around into its final adjustment. Before gravel comes, we'll put the cherry on top and build a roof over it. Is it level? Hell yes it is!!

About as solid as they come.  This one should weather well.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

There's 80 feet of rebar through the build. As the blocks went up, more rebar was pushed down into place.

table top,

pad,

height extender pads,

Sadly, only to around 120 yards. thats ok, most of my muzzleloader shots are under 100 yards, so this is where i practice.
