If you log in to your account it should be an option to buy. Did you draw MS deer?
If your not going to be back by the deadline you can call and they will cancel your archery tag and let you buy the multi over the phone or online. They ask you mail the archery tag in. You don’t have to do it at a dealer like they will try to get you to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was able to get on and pay for my second deer tag just now. Seems like they are getting things slowly sorted.
Ill just wait to buy my 2nd deer tag until after i trade my archery tag in for multi season, just to make sure they dont send me a 2nd deer tag that says archery on it.

If not it will save you some coin if you just shoot it with your bow.

You're applying for a specific gmu with a specific weapon.

I also drew an "any season" tag and my understanding is that you get to hunt the entire time no matter the weapon. I have an archery tag as well. Normal season starts Sept 1st and this particular 2nd deer tag starts August 1st. Now you have me questioning it.

The tag required to apply for that particular permit was "Any." You applied with a archery deer tag, so your second tag will be archery. So you can only hunt with archery equipment. And yes, you can hunt the entire season shown for that permit.

"You may hunt only with the hunting method in compliance with your tag...The second tag must be the same weapon choice asyour first tag."As I read it if he has a multi-season tag, he should be able to hunt with any method.

Because if he has a multi season tag as his regular tag then his second tag would also be multi season per the regs so any legal weapon.

Just that if your regular tag is archery, then your 2nd tag will be as well.

So I can hunt Aug 1st thru Dec 31st with my bow.
Per the game department..."your 2nd tag must be the same weapon as your first tag, which means you are limited to archery, but able to hunt with that 2nd tag anytime between Aug 1st- Dec 31st until you fill that 2nd deer tag for that area"
Quote from: shmeegs80 on June 19, 2019, 07:37:48 AMPer the game department..."your 2nd tag must be the same weapon as your first tag, which means you are limited to archery, but able to hunt with that 2nd tag anytime between Aug 1st- Dec 31st until you fill that 2nd deer tag for that area"The first tag being the one you were required to purchase when you applied for second deer. You had picked a weapon to apply for second deer and only later did you find out that you won multi-season. It wouldn't make sense to allow any weapon for a weapon restricted second deer tag. Some of those GMUs are restricted for a reason. For example they might want to reduce the deer population but without using centerfire rifles. There are also second deer tags where one weapon is a lot harder to obtain than another. Well multi-season deer isn't that difficult to get so you would be bypassing the system.
Probably gonna get told what an idiot I am for suggesting anyone talk to WDFW, but feel free to give them a call. 360-902-2200 . Follow the phone prompts to talk with hunt licensing folks. They have answers. I've done it multiple times.

It wasn’t weapon specific like most are.
