 I drew a late season muzzleloader tag for mashel unit, elk area 6054. It looks like they cut the area in half from what it was in 2018. taking out most of the hancock kapowsin land. How is the elbe hills state forest that time of  year? (late dec. early jan.). Would i be better off buying Eatonville hancock pass? I am not real familiar with area. Any info on this hunt would be appreciated.

Hancock will still let you hunt. I think it was 2009 they change boundaries and Hancock let people hunt the Kaposwin side. Its in there rules open for January antlerless elk hunt. Call them and ask.
