I see some K2 series packs showing up in the “gear for sale” in 3, 2, 1........
You need a K2 frame?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would love to have the larger frame, but I'll probably wait at least until there are reviews out. I know at 6'4" I am larger than the K2 frame, but it seems to work OK and probably not worth the added cost. I remember backpacking and mountaineering for decades not knowing what model year pack I had, this seems to be a crazy trend.

I've had traditional backpacking packs last 20 years. I don't see any reason why these high end packs, built out of the materials they are using shouldn't do the same. At $650 these things don't really fall into the planned obsolescence category and dropping that kind of $$ every couple years seems crazy to me.
