dead cam check
« on: July 10, 2019, 03:23:17 PM »
I just checked two trail cameras. when I got to the second one it said "low battery" and their were elk and deer tracks all over the place. checked the pics and it had died after taking a few pics of this cow elk. at least I still got a decent blacktail on the other camera.

Flyfish, which trailhawk is that , what mp? Do you like it? Hows the battery life?
It looks like the picture quality is really good.

Thats a bummer, I found those in a 20mp for 78.00 was hoping they would have good battery life.
I leave mine out for 6 months through winter and they have to last cause i'm not going around to each one to change batteries.
Thanks for the reply.

The real question is, what batteries are you using?

the same ones I use in wildgame inovations, primos, and stealth cams and in them they last over a year.

If your cam can take lithium use them. Shelf life on other batteries is bad, they might say good until 2024 when really they are not. :twocents:
