Havent decided if I'll bring a fishing pole or not. Most likely leave the boat home. Tempting though. Those Quil fish can be pretty frustrating in the bay.

Fishing is spotty at buoy 10, we hooked 7 but no keepers Monday and only one chinook today. Will be on Willapa Wednesday.

You using spoons? I prefer to fish hoockies as two hooks are better than one. Tough not to have one or two pop off. Keeping their heads in the water until the last second is what I try to do.
So we’ve been loosing a lot of fish right at the boat. I’ve been trying my darnedest not to give them any slack and have the net ready but we keep loosing them. Do any of seasoned vets have any tips for getting more fish in the boat?
