Search in Tapatalk?

Am I doing it wrong? I have zero luck searching anything on the app. Regardless of what type of search (topic, post, etc) I get nothing. It comes up with suggestions that seem more google-ish than anything associated with this board. For example I typed in “razor” trying to look up some info on binocs and I get the following...

I also chose razor clam recipes thinking that’d hit something and got zero.

tapatalk isn't a great answer for mobile viewing of HW, but there isn't much else either that I know about 

I can't start a thread on tapatalk and if I try to mod anything from tapatalk               it don't work too good 


but sure is handy for posting pics on HW, great for that  (for me, others have issues posting pics)

Tapatalk has issues with the server software that is used on the forum.  I have the same problems.  Ibalso use chrome on my phone if I need to do something Tapatalk won't.

Search has never worked on Tapatalk. I am almost always using Tapatalk on my phone and I do everything but search. If I need to search I click on the web view and then use the normal search function. It’s got something to do with this forum specifically because I use the app on 2-3 other forums and the search function works fine.
