Decoy spreads...size/mix

So for salt water sloughs and holes what do you take with you?? what sizes/types and how many?

In my salt marsh hunt's I don't use a large spread, about 40 dekes.  I have a mix of mallard, teal, and Wigeon in the spread.  Also have a few feeders and sleepers and divers mixed in.  Seems to work pretty well for me as long as I have them placed properly with the wind and blind location in mind.

dito on goldeneys comment, the only thing i do differnt is i have a few pintail and a half dozen to a dozen geese aswell.

Are you boating in or walking in.  I try to scout the area first, if the birds are in smaller groups I will use fewer decoys. Sometime I will use a dozen really good decoys "Columbia River Decoys" and throw them out.  The ducks seem to come in good.  If I am hunting larger bodies of water and have boat access I will throw out a large spread with mixed species of birds.  I if the birds are flaring off the spread, change it up.
