The ones I've seen take up a lot of bed space which may or may not be a concern. You're going to lose a foot or more of space. We sell a ton of those tri-fold tonneaus and almost none of the retractable ones.
I have a Roll N Lock on current pickup. Pretty sure I’ll have one on every pickup going forward. Pretty nice to keep anything in the bed dry and secure when needed, yet within seconds it’s like it’s not even there. Yes you loose a little bed space with it but hasn’t been a problem

In these smaller bedded trucks it seems like you need all the space available and killing 1/4 of the space did not suit me. I ended up going with an Extang that opens front or back and removes in about a minute. It has been great and my only complaint is that it was not designed to support weight, though it is pretty rigid and it has supported my #240 a couple times. I like that you can fold up the panel closest to the cab to put stuff without dropping the tailgate.
